28 Weeks

Welcome 3rd Trimester!! I can't believe we're already 2/3 the way done. So far, it's been a great pregnancy. This week, feeling very pregnant. My hip started bothering me again, so I've been walking like a big, pregnant woman. That, or an old lady. I'm hobbling around pretty bad. Felt a bit better today, but after shopping with my mom all morning, it's pretty sore again. I should take it easy.

Had another appointment this week and all went well. Met with a new doctor and I really liked him! I was a little concerned because I hadn't felt the little guy move too much the last few days, and the doctor said right away, well, we'll just get you another ultrasound. :) So, we heard baby's heartbeat and then got to see him moving around quite a bit! The ultrasound tech pointed out how he was kicking and moving all around and asked me, "You don't feel that?!?" Nope. But, since the ultrasound, I've felt him move quite a bit again, so that's reassuring. But, my appointment went well. I'm up now 15 pounds which is good, I guess... And I'm going to appointments every 2 weeks now too- can't believe I'm at that point already!

This ultrasound was a lot tougher to see than the last one, and it was amazing seeing how much he has grown the last 8 weeks. Here, he's facing us, and you can see his eye- during the ultrasound he was blinking! Amazing.

Another exciting thing was we were blessed with 3 trashbags FULL of little boy clothes. A lady at school was having a garage sale and knew I was having a boy, so told me I could stop by and have whatever I liked. Truly a blessing. She said that when they were having their boys, they were blessed by many people giving them things, so she was now passing on that blessing. So, I know that we'll pass that on in a few years as well.
