30 Weeks

Another busy week for us. Starting to wash wash wash all the baby's laundry. Taking tags off new clothes, and because of ANOTHER wonderful family that gave us 2 garbage bags full of clothes, we have lots of clothes. This boy is SET. Well...we'll need a few more things, but it feels wonderful getting clothes from other people. I also had my first shower this week! My class threw me a shower on Friday and it was so much FUN. My mom came too, which was really special. :) The kids played a few games- putting a diaper on a bear blindfolded- they did surprisingly well! And they all gave me advice and guessed the day the baby will be born. Then I opened all my gifts, and that was so fun. My kids have been loving me being pregnant and it's been so fun sharing with them the development of him and everything that's going on. Unfortunately, baby hasn't kicked for anyone yet, so I'm a little bummed with that because the girls really want to feel him kick.

Also had a doctor's appointment this week Wednesday. Going every 2 weeks now which makes me feel like I'm always there! Wonder how I'll feel when I'm going every week... Appointment went great. I'm up 17 pounds. BP looked good they said and baby's heartbeat sounded great. He's been moving around like crazy this past week, so no worries this time about that! So, overall, boring appointment. But, boring appointment=good appointment.

Also, this week, we got a new car for baby! :) Decided we just can't trust our truck anymore, so we traded that in and got a Honda CRV. So, we're pretty excited about that. I think this week too we got a carseat for the baby, so things are getting purchased and getting ready for him! We can take him home from the hospital now since we have the carseat!

Other baby news this week- another prenatal class. Learned about the second stage of labor- active labor. Active labor= get yourself to the hospital. Learning breathing techniques and just techniques on how to deal with the pain and labor. Talked a little about pain medication too. Still undecided how I feel about that. Well...I was decided, now I'm more undecided. Not sure what will happen there.

Here I am- 30 weeks! We were at Dad and Mom's house enjoying a campfire in the backyard. Such a beautiful night. Got back late and didn't get to a belly picture, so no bare belly shot this week. Bummer I forgot it.
