It's my first week of maternity leave! How exciting! Kids are done at school, and I was done with my meetings and such on Tuesday. I still have quite a bit of work to do at school, but for the most part, I'm done until after baby is here. I'm so glad that I'm due when I am. I'm starting to get tired and sore, and just ready to sit and relax. I definitely COULD keep working, but it's nice to sit and think about baby things and finishing some things around the house. My friend had a garage sale this week, so that's where I was most of the week. We cleaned out our house and sold a few things at the sale- making room for all the things baby needs!
We had our 32 week appointment on Wednesday. Another great appointment. I went up 2 pounds the past 2 weeks, so that's pretty good. Blood pressure was great and the baby's heartrate was in the 140s. Can't wait to see this little guy! I really feel that baby flipped this week too- I THINK. I know I could totally be wrong, but one night this week, it felt like my whole stomach area flipped and that the baby moved in a whole circle. Not positive, but I'm hoping he's head down! Baby also had hiccups one night this week- Jared got to feel them! But, the hiccups were really low, so...maybe!
Last prenatal class on Thursday. We practiced our breathing during the different stages of labor and asked questions. I feel slightly prepared- but I know that things will all change when the actual labor happens. Glad we went to the classes though!
