Time to Dance

Last night Jared and I took advantage of dollar night at the Iowa Cubs. $1 to get pretty good seats at a Cub's game? I'll take it. We had a lot of fun and were happy that the rain took a break. It was a little chilly, but I enjoyed pulling out my jeans, sweatshirt, and fleece again. I know it was still 60 degrees or so, but I'm always cold.

We were early enough to catch a bit of batting practice. Many seats were empty so was able to get a few neat shots of seats awaiting their fans. Jared wants a banner for his baseball blog so tried to get a few for that.

Jared was pretty excited because Rich Harden was pitching last night. You should have seen his excited, kid-like face when he saw the pitcher for the night was Harden. He's the Chicago Cub's #2 pitcher and is down from the majors nursing an injury. I think Jared's just a wee bit excited that the Cub's triple-A team is in town.
