Week 15

I'm on our little mini computer that doesn't store pictures, so, no picture today. Picture is still on my camera, so don't fear- you won't miss it. Just postponed.

This week has been great pregnancy-wise. And other life-wise. I had another scheduled appointment this week and all went great! I was ubber-bummed because my mom planned on coming up for this appointment so she could hear the heartbeat and fulfill a few "grandma" duties, but the weather didn't cooperate. Next time! Jared was able to get off work last minute and was able to come with me. We heard our dear babe's heartbeat again (..love..) and the doctor said everything looked great! My weight stayed the same. The doctor seemed a 'bit' concerned, but said not to eat more and that probably next time I come in, I'll be up 6 or 8 pounds. Yikes! Scheduled the next appointment ANNNDD the gender-scan ultrasound!! 5 weeks from now!

Other excitement this week, I'm pretty sure my belly just poppppped out! So, I'm not going to doubt that 6 or 8 pounds in a few weeks. Last week Friday I wore my best-fitting pants and even told Jared how great they fit (a previous pull-off-my-butt pair of pants). I wore these same pants yesterday, and they were tight! Also, the last two days, I've gotten a number of comments on my baby belly. I love that! (Now I'm getting you curious about that photo, huh?)

Biggest bummer though, I think I'm getting sick. (hence the laziness of going to the other computer to upload a picture) Woke up with a sore throat, itchy throat, cough. Doctor okayed a few meds, but I'm going to try to just stick with the OJ for now. Jared's actually on his way to the grocery store to pick up some more for me.

Things that made me smile this week:
-Snow- Beautiful snowfall on Monday. I love it. So much snow this winter, but I love it- except for the slipperyness!
-Mariah choosing different names for the baby every day. Today it was Gary. :)
-Listening to Jared and his buddy practice for their show next week.
-Seeing the joy on my kids' faces when getting their valentines.
-A high school student telling me, "Pregnant women can't carry heavy boxes!" And taking the box from me and carrying it to my room for me. How sweet. It was actually really light! But she wouldn't hear different.
-Valentine pizzas. :)
-Thinking about my baby having a COUSIN so close in age. How wonderful.
