I start a blog, a journal, a diary, and my goals become futile. I don't do it. It becomes lonely.
I know I have a whole throng of followers, but I should still do this for myself at least. At least a couple times...a year?
I love fall. Just wanted to say that. So many people complain of the cold, the rain, the knowledge that snow is coming; I love it. I love the cold, the rain, the- I'll say it- the possibility of snow. Okay, okay, it's only October 4, but I can't wait for the moment that the air gets that prick- the prick of the possibility of snow. Ooooh, I can't wait! The other night I was sitting at work, looking out the window, and I thought I saw it. It was only leaves blowing in the wind, but that sight set my heart aflutter.
I'll be patient for a few more weeks, but after November 1st, I'm expecting it soon. For now, I'll be content with the chill in the air.

I know this picture shows quite the opposite of what I'm talking about, but I wanted to upload it anyway, because I like this picture. Jared and I went camping 2 weekends ago at Saylorville Lake, just a few minutes from home, and I thought I'd take a few pictures of the pretty plants growing on the side of the big drop off by the lake. We had a great time walking along the lake, playing games at the campsite, and sitting by the fire to keep warm. I definitely enjoyed camping in the cooler weather.

Not sure why this picture looks all grainy, but, it's a picture of us, none-the-less. We had a great time visiting Living History Farms on Museum Day! Free admission to a museum we wanted to visit- we couldn't pass that up! We had a great day walking around the farms and just being outdoors on a great day.
Sensing a theme? Weather, being outside... I think I was inside too much this weekend. :)
